Tj has played baseball competitively since he was 4 years old. Graduated from Tigard High School in 2010.


Played 2 years at Clark College as a starter and relief pitcher. He then went to an NAIA school in Des Moines, Iowa on a full scholarship. His senior year he was named 1st-team all conference.


After college, he played in a professional independent league in Roswell, New Mexico. His second year professionally, he went international and played in San Luis, Sonora, Mexico before getting called up the to Mexican big leagues, Liga Mexicana de Beisbol. He finished the year with the Pericos de Puebla with a 1-1 record and 2.12 ERA going against former MLB players and top Mexican prospects.


Tj has coached every summer since graduating high school from ages 10-18 including being the JV pitching coach at Tigard in 2011.
